While we were recording the 4 songs for The Turning Tide EP we also had this track sitting there, which was written for a halloween show that we played at.
As fun as it was to dress up and riff out some classic rock songs we figured it would be a waste to just let this song sit and collect dust. So we decided to record it and let you guys have it for free.

A very djenty and progressive sound, maybe out of all TDWA releases. Great leads and an abundance of technical interplay such as discordant and cacophonous guitars and peculiar rhythms. Interestingly enough, this album has a more mechanical feel to it in stark contrast to the flora and fauna image depicted, but this was probably done on purpose since TDWA does this best, defying expectations and surprising even the most discerning of listeners! :)

I get a sense that there is an intentional increase of electronic/industrial aspects to the songs on this E.P. Less pronounced than Satriani's "Engines of Creation" but noticable nonetheless. So I wonder if this EP, following their awesome full-length earlier this year, is a bit of a studio exploration of some new sounds/technology. Some nice instrumental songs here nonetheless.
